Female/Ethnic Minority in Psychology
Today, the majority of graduates who receive PhD’s in psychology are women, as are the majority of psychology graduate and undergraduate students. However, the history of psychology is dominated by men. For nearly 20 years after the formal founding of psychology as a scientific discipline, women faced barriers in becoming psychologists and thus having a chance to make significant contribution to the development of the field. The barriers were even more significant for ethnic minority students who wanted to contribute to the field.
Each student will write a 5-6 page (not including the title page and reference section), APA style, typed, double-spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font paper that examines the life of one of the early female and/or ethnic minority pioneers in the field of psychology. Each paper must include a minimum of five scholarly sourcesFOR MORE INFORMATION ON THIS TOPIC CLICK HERE
